At the coffee morning in June we had a doll “guess the name” this was Babs.  The winning lady asked if we could do a shawl for Babs, Kathy and her Mum have crocheted a lovely one with wool and given it to us.  The donation for the shawl will go towards funds for an outing to the bowling at Sin fin - Thank you Kathy + Mum.

Mark - is busy knitting four scarves which have been ordered by Mrs G and will contribute to the funds.

Pete Goodwin - goes to woodwork on Thursday’s and has made a lovely jewellery box to Julie who goes to Pace with him as a “Thank You”.

Joe Coleman’s -  neighbour was at a wedding in County Derry, instead of gifts the bride and groom who had experience of people with Head Injuries requested donations to “Headway“ what a Lovely idea.

We have been in our New Premises for almost 4 months now and have settled in well and overcome most of the teething problems encountered in the early days.  I would like to thank all Staff and Volunteers for their dedication in making the move as smooth as possible for the members and for helping everyone to adapt to the new surrounding.

Congratulations Team GB

This title reflects the activities we have covered our post few weeks.  Matt with his Drama Sessions, exercises on as Olympic theme, exploring countries by recognition of their flags keeping a chest updated on the medal tally on our new notice board.  Now we are looking forward to the Para Olympics with different challenges, some of which our members exercise daily.

Today we have been busy making Bird and Butterfly Kites ready for the trip next week to Trenham Gardens.
