We are currently recruiting for Volunteers to join us in our new Brain Injury Hub. 

Roles available are:

Reception Volunteer/s

We are looking for one person to join our frontline team as they welcome members to their activities and events flexible days and hours are available to suit across Monday, Thursday and Friday. Approximately 10am until 12.30pm

No previous experience is required and training will be provided.

Tasks will include:

  1. Maintaining the member register
  2. Taking and recording payments
  3. Answering telephone calls
  4. Signing in post and ensuring it reaches the right people
  5. Helping with outgoing mail
  6. Supporting admin tasks such as photocopying, preapring folders
  7. Sending diary invites for meetings and events

A basic understanding of microsoft word and excel would be helpful.

Health & Wellbeing Volunteer

We are looking for one person to join our operations team to support the Health and Wellbeing activities we plan and deliver for members each week. These can be from arranging a picnic and cycle ride at the park through to supporting our nutrition and cooking sessions. We are offering flexible days and hours to suit the right candidate across Tuesday, Thursday or Friday. Approximately 10am until 12.30pm

No previous experience is required and training will be provided. Understanding of health and nutrition helpful. Current Food Hygiene cert would be desirable but not essential.

Tasks will include:

  1. planning and delivering health and wellbeing activities
  2. preparing nutrition and food sessions
  3. supporting members to visit and participate at the allotment (optional)
  4. assisting support workers with recipe planning
  5. Supporting admin tasks such as photocopying, preparing folders.
